Sonia Gandhi And Rahul To Appear In Court In National Herald Case Today



Congress president Sonia Gandhi and VP Rahul Gandhi will show up in a trial court in Delhi in the National Herald case today. The two will show up in the witness of the trial court at the Patiala House Courts at 3 pm, Congress sources said. Gathering representative Randeep Surjewala said, "We are interested in profiting every single lawful remedie and alternatives including (looking for) safeguard."

Prior to their appearance, party pioneers and administrators will focalize at the Congress home office, 24 Akbar Road, in a show of quality.

Mr Swamy had recorded the case in a neighborhood court in 2012, one year before he joined the BJP. The court had in 2014 issued summons to the Gandhis and others which they tested in the Delhi High Court. Prior this month, the High Court declined to continue through to the end.

The High Court's choice saw the Congress party and its metal blame the BJP for political quarrel. Mr Gandhi had told columnists on December 9 that the case was "100 for each penny political feud leaving the Prime Minister's Office."

An aggressive Mrs Gandhi had told NDTV, "I am Indira Gandhi's little girl in-law, I am not perplexed of anybody or anything."

The BJP on its part demanded that Mr Swamy had recorded the case before he joined the gathering and that the gathering or the administration it heads hashttp://cs.astronomy.com/members/sinusheadaches/default.aspx nothing to do with the legal procedure.

Account Minister and famous legal advisor Arun Jaitley wrote in a Facebook post that Mr Swamy had "started the procedure of law" as a private resident. "Nobody is exempt from the laws that apply to everyone else," he composed. In a meeting to NDTV on Monday, he had said Mrs Gandhi's announcement "stunk of political qualification."
